The Taiwan-US 2-Way Internship Program offers students the chance to immerse themselves in distinct technological environments of the ecosystems of Taiwan and the SF Bay Area. 

Stanford/UC Berkeley students can explore Taiwan's vibrant industries and research sectors, while Taiwanese students experience the innovation-driven culture of Silicon Valley and Stanford. 

This program fosters cross-cultural communication and collaboration, enhancing global understanding and cooperation in science and technology. Participants gain practical skills and insights, preparing them to be leaders in a globally interconnected world.

Stanford/UC Berkeley to Taiwan

The 2025 Taiwan Science and Technology Hub Internship Program will be opening for application soon in November 2024! This Internship Program is an opportunity for students from Stanford University and UC Berkeley to explore cutting-edge research and industry practices in Taiwan. 

This program is designed for undergraduate and graduate students who are eager to connect with Taiwan's vibrant industries and academic communities. Participants will have the chance to engage in internships across various scientific disciplines, offering a rich experience both in research labs and within the broader cultural context of Taiwan.

Eligible students can select from a list of approved employers provided by the Taiwan Science and Technology Hub or seek out their own opportunities in Taiwan. The program prioritizes fields such as Semiconductors, AI, Quantum Technologies, Precision Medicine, Net Zero Technologies, Advanced Manufacturing, and Space Technologies, ensuring that participants gain exposure to some of the most innovative sectors today.

This program not only supports internships during the summer but also accommodates those that align with the academic year. It aims to foster a deeper understanding of Taiwan's technological landscape and provides students with a platform to build professional networks and gain invaluable international experience. Interested students are encouraged to attend the annual information session hosted by the Taiwan Science and Technology Hub to learn more about the application process and program specifics.
