As a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, I'm focused on exploring the pharmacokinetics of fluorescent probes in small animals, emphasizing second near-infrared (NIR-II) fluorescence imaging for precise tumor identification. My Ph.D. work involved creating a NIR-II 3D imaging system to visualize tumors and vascular structures, achieving comprehensive 3D vascular and tumor blood vessel models in small animals. My current goal is to innovate in 3D NIR-II brain imaging and develop protease-activated NIR-II probes for enhanced surgical precision. The opportunity to conduct this research under the mentorship of Prof. Matthew Bogyo in the Department of Pathology could significantly propel my efforts in precision medicine and preclinical study advancements in precision health.
