I'm a passionate scholar specializing in electrochemistry and lithium-ion batteries utilizing DFT calculations. Within this captivating realm, we think big but explore small, unraveling the profound secrets of science. I have expertise in quantum chemistry and various ways of building computational models. I am working under the guidance of Prof. Qin in the Department of Chemical Engineering to strengthen my simulation and analysis skills. My recent research focuses on investigating the electrochemical decomposition of electrolytes on the surface of Li-metal anodes, exploring the lattice-oxygen evolution in Li-rich layered cathode materials such as Li1.2Ni0.2Mn0.6O2, and studying the dissolution behavior of lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) in Li-S batteries. By synergistically combining theoretical and experimental studies, we offer invaluable guidelines for designing innovative materials, paving the way for the development of safe and high-performance batteries.
