Feng-Yang Chen

Advisor: Willian Chueh

Feng-Yang, born in Linkou, New Taipei City, has been fueled by a passion for science since childhood. He earned his undergraduate degree at National Taiwan University and PhD degree at Rice University in Chemical Engineering. Currently, he is a Stanford-Taiwan S&T Hub Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof. William Chueh's group.

Feng-Yang's research interests lie in renewable energy conversion for green chemical production. His expertise includes electrochemical catalyst design and reactor engineering to address challenges such as green hydrogen synthesis, green ammonia production, and converting CO2 into valuable fuels. His career goal is to secure a faculty position where he can further immerse himself in research and teaching, contributing to the realization of a sustainable and harmonious world. In addition to research, Feng-Yang enjoys ACG, traveling, and hiking. He is also a milk tea lover, making milk tea for himself every day.
