Ellen Zeng

Ellen grew up and received her education in Taiwan. Since 2018, she has happily settled with her family in the heart of Silicon Valley. Before joining Stanford, she worked for a think tank under the Taiwanese government, focusing on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policies for over nine years. She conducted research on Science Park Policy, Academia-Industry Collaboration Mechanisms, and International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policies. Studying Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policies unexpectedly shaped her career around connecting Taiwan and Silicon Valley. She traveled between the two regions, investigating their ecosystems. She enjoys the role of bridging the two sides of the Pacific Ocean, finding it full of conflicts, challenges, opportunities, and creativity.

She joined Stanford as the Program Manager of the Taiwan Science and Technology Hub in 2023.
