Bruce Baumgartner

Bruce leads all procurement, strategic sourcing and third-party relationship management, operations and charging infrastructure, sustainability strategy as well as the company’s quality and reliability engineering functions. Prior to joining Zoox in June 2016, Bruce led a team at Apple responsible for strategic sourcing and global supply management for various semiconductor and optical components and subassemblies touching all Apple hardware products. Bruce began his career as a U.S. Navy Intelligence Officer, serving in various tactical and strategic roles, including those on board two forward deployed carrier strike groups, a joint special operations task force, the White House and finally as part of the Chief of Naval Operations intelligence staff. He holds a BS in Economics from the US Naval Academy and an MBA from Columbia University.
